Margie was known for her devotion to her family and many friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. After retirement, her love for travel took Margie and Holly on many memorable trips with family and friends. Her favorite destinations were National Parks and European river cruises. She always looked forward to her monthly Book Club and Investment Club meetings, as well as her annual camping trip with a group of beloved Dickinsonians. Gardening was a priority, however, she was never happier than when she was at her beach house in Sea Isle City where family and friends would congregate.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two wonderful daughters; Linda B. Hollinshead (John Goncher) of Rosemont, Pennsylvania and Debra M. (John) Lischak of Gloucester Township, New Jersey. Her other cherished family members are grandchildren Sarah & Christopher Goncher and Melanie & Connor Lischak; sister Nancy Porch (Jim) Whiteman of Naples, Florida, niece Jennifer (Darren) Svan and nephew Samuel (Jaime) Hafner, one great niece, three great nephews and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with family on Monday, September 24, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at The Mansions on Main Street, Voorhees, New Jersey 08043. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon.
